Still, some story beats - especially its overarching message - are very beautiful and I surprisingly got emotional by the end. As much as Harold Halibut is a terribly bloated experience, you can't help but feel sad when the adventure eventually ends. It has a lingering charm not everyone will appreciate, but for those who do it's great.

John Cleese talks about how they used to quibble over every single line, and often even single words (even stage directions and decorations), and it often came down to the most stubborn person, so presumably *somebody* felt that halibut was the funniest fish name, because it comes up a few times in sketches in "Flying Circus".

Keep in mind that the Halibut Cannon only drops in Revengeance Mode or higher, and is meant to be a fun Easter Egg help you plow through progression.

Oct 18, 2023 · Halibut are predatory fish that always stick close to the bottom so always keep that in mind. Dropshotting is probably one of the most effective ways of targeting them. You will lose quite a bit terminal tackle but you will eventually catch a halibut with dropshot.

Harold Halibut was released today on game pass and right now the game clocks in at 52 GB!! I was expecting maybe 10GB for an indie game with unique art style but 52 is A LOT for game like this.

Jun 3, 2022 · All fish cheeks are pretty damn good imo! Makes sense given that they are constantly being worked. Tuna cheeks are brilliant. So is the collar. Ling cod doesn’t taste like halibut but it is delicious - especially char-grilled with a miso glaze/marinade. Super easy to do, too. One of my favorite dishes.
